Essential Holistic Wellness is a restorative bodywork and nervous system wellness studio rooted in therapeutic touch, intentional care, and holistic healing practices. Founded by Kayla Meyer, LMT, EHW blends clinical bodywork with restorative rituals designed to support pain relief, stress reduction, emotional grounding, and nervous system regulation. Cancellation Policy
1) Card on File (Required):
To protect reserved time and reduce last-minute changes, a valid credit/debit card is required to book any appointment. Your card is stored securely by our PCI-compliant processor. We accept cash/other forms at checkout, but a card on file is still required.
2) Deposits:
A 50% deposit is charged at booking for:
New clients
Same-day bookings
Deposits are applied to your service at checkout. If you cancel/reschedule inside the 24-hour window (see #3), your deposit is forfeited and any remaining balance up to 100% may be charged per the last-minute policy.
3) Cancellation/Reschedule Window:
Please provide 24+ hours notice to cancel or reschedule.
24+ hours: No fee; deposits transfer to the new time (one transfer allowed).
Inside 24 hours: 100% of the scheduled service fee is charged.
No-show (including 20+ minutes late): 100% fee.
4) Last-Minute & Same-Day Appointments:
Because these are harder to refill, cancellations of same-day appointments are charged 100% of the service fee once booked.
5) Late Arrival:
Arriving late shortens hands-on time so we can stay on schedule for clients after you.
0–10 minutes late: Session ends on time; full fee due.
10–20 minutes late: We’ll do our best; session may be shortened; full fee due.
20+ minutes late: Considered a no-show; 100% fee.
6) Illness, Emergencies & Weather:
If you are actively ill (fever, vomiting, new rash, contagious symptoms) please contact us ASAP—we’ll happily reschedule. Genuine emergencies or severe weather may be fee-waived at our discretion with documentation if needed.
7) Packages, Gift Cards & Third-Party Payments:
Gift cards/packages are applied first; any late/no-show fees are charged to your card on file if the package/gift card cannot be used to cover the fee.
Promotional/free sessions cannot be used to cover late/no-show fees.
8) Payment, Returns & Chargebacks:
Payment is due at time of service. Late/no-show fees are not refundable. Disputed charges/chargebacks may incur an administrative fee if the dispute is resolved in our favor.
9) Communication Channel:
Please cancel/reschedule using the online booking link or by text/call at 309-218-9915. Social DMs are not monitored for scheduling.
10) Agreement:
By booking, you acknowledge you have read and agree to this policy.
